Abu Ubayd Islamic School, Lokoja, was established in September 2011 with the vision of providing a balanced education that integrates sound Islamic values with modern academic excellence.

Since its inception, the school has grown into a reputable institution committed to nurturing morally upright, intellectually sound and socially responsible learners within Lokoja and beyond.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Abu Ubayd Islamic School, Lokoja. At Abu Ubayd Islamic School, we are guided by the divine instruction of Allah (SWT):

وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

“And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”
Surah Taha 20:114

Prospective parents are required to complete the application form and submit it along with the following:

Photocopy of Last Term's Examination Result

Transfer Certificate / Testimonial from Previous School

Placement tests and entrance examinations into various classes will be announced closer to the date. The 2026/2027 academic session commences in September 2026.
